WHY THIS JOB: OPERATIONS MANAGER
A well-established, service-based company in Western Colorado is adding an Operations Manager to lead its largest and most developed market. The business has been running for decades, serves a high-end residential clientele, and already has a strong customer base, a full field team, and a clear playbook. What it needs now is a stronger operator.
You'll report to the General Manager and own the day-to-day. Your job is to evaluate the team and the work, find the inefficiencies, and get more out of what's already there. You'll have full oversight of routing, service, and the warehouse. The biggest thing here is being a strong manager who knows how to lead a team and own the results.
On top of that, you'll help grow the business by building relationships with property managers and others in the community who tie directly into the work being done.
This is a strong number-two role with real upside. There's a solid chance this grows into a GM seat in the coming years, and the company is actively expanding. They promote from within and they take care of the people who perform.
What You'll Actually Do:
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
· At least 5 years managing field crews in construction, landscaping, roofing, property management, or something similar
· You've managed a big team before and you know how to hold people accountable without burning them out
· You think about efficiency, not just staying busy. You schedule to get the most out of your team, not to blindly assign everyone 40 hours
· You can handle what's in front of you today and still think about where things are headed
· You're comfortable talking to property managers and building the kind of relationships that turn into recurring business
· You handle people problems and customer complaints directly, confidently and with white-glove treatment
· You want to be out in it, not sitting at a desk all day
· You can pick up new software and work across multiple systems without it slowing you down
