What's Awesome About Our Client?

  • Mission-Driven, High-Growth Trajectory: Join an innovative bioagriculture and biotechnology leader experiencing exponential revenue growth.
  • Thrive in a "Build-It" Environment: This is a founder-led space where your ideas matter. You will inherit a dynamic, real-world growth environment—not a rigid corporate box.
  • High-Impact Exposure: Help lead a critical, hands-on GAAP conversion alongside external partners and roll out cutting-edge banking automation modules.
  • True Mentorship & Autonomy: Work closely with a collaborative Financial Controller who utilizes an open-door policy, focuses heavily on your self-development, and wants to groom you for substantial future career tracking.

Why this job – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

Join this rapidly scaling organization as their Senior Accountant to act as the finance leader's right hand. This role is designed specifically for an autonomous, solution-oriented professional who wants to own an accounting function rather than just execute daily tasks. You will step into a highly collaborative, small-team environment where you will build standard operating procedures and take the company's accounting infrastructure to the next level. If you want a role with a distinct voice, immense flexibility, and the relaxed lifestyle of a Northern Colorado culture, this is the perfect career move.

What You'll Actually Do:

  • Own the Close & Technical Books: Take complete ownership of the full-cycle month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals in adherence with US GAAP.
  • Drive Manufacturing & Inventory Controls: Lead inventory and cost accounting for the newly completed production facility, establishing cycle count programs, standard costing, and inventory valuation.
  • System & Automation Champion: Manage the accounting side of NetSuite, leading the rollout of banking automation, configuring batch/lot tracking, and ensuring smooth multi-jurisdiction sales tax compliance.
  • Process Transformation: Support the cash-to-GAAP conversion, bridging transactional reality with robust future corporate reporting frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Generate monthly variance analysis and partner closely with operations and sales teams to capture actionable financial insights and handle customer collections.
  • Bring Solutions: Manage day-to-day AP and AR cycles while constantly seeking process efficiencies—bringing proposed solutions to leadership rather than just questions.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a proven track record of operating with high autonomy.
  • Technical GAAP Expertise: Strong, working command of US GAAP to confidently make technical accounting judgment calls.
  • Industry & Systems Exposure: NetSuite experience is a major. Background in manufacturing, product costing, inventory management, or private equity/growth-stage companies is highly beneficial.
  • Mindset: A curious, problem-solving approach; comfortable with ambiguity and gray areas inherent to a fast-paced startup-like feel.

Where and How Much:

  • Target Compensation: $100K to $115K.
  • Hybrid Schedule: 3 days per week in office.
  • Location: Loveland, CO.
  • Benefits: Unlimited PTO, 401(k), PPO medical/dental/vision coverage, HSA plan.
