What You'll Actually Do:

Ensure Accuracy & Review: Review tax returns and supporting workpapers prepared by external tax providers, identifying technical issues, planning opportunities, and areas requiring follow-up.

Coordinate Deliverables: Act as a key point of contact with external tax preparation providers to facilitate the timely, accurate completion of client returns.

Drive Proactive Planning: Prepare tax projections, tax analysis, and other essential tools used directly in sophisticated wealth planning engagements.

Collaborate on Strategy: Participate in internal strategy discussions for clients, partnering with advisor teams and planning departments to address overarching tax objectives.

Resolve Notice Issues: Research federal and state tax matters, respond to IRS and state tax notices, and assist with drafting clear client correspondence.

Evolve Client Interaction: Bring a willingness to participate directly in client meetings, educational events, and prospective client discussions as you grow comfortable with the team.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
- 3+ years of tax experience, preferably gained within public accounting, wealth management, a family office, or tax advisory services.
- Working knowledge of individual (1040), trust, estate, partnership, and corporate taxation.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and exposure to tax-related applications like Holistiplan and Planner CS is preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent written/verbal communication, and a highly collaborative mindset.
Where and How Much:

Target Compensation: $80K to $95K, 10% target bonus.
