WHY THIS JOB: COMMERICAL SUPERINTENDENT

A well-established Montana contractor is adding a Commercial Superintendent to support continued growth. This role plays a critical part in day-to-day execution, ensuring projects are run safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing field operations on commercial construction projects, working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and in-house crews. You’ll serve as the primary on-site leader, setting expectations and keeping work moving forward.

  • Track labor timecards and support accurate job cost reporting
  • Coordinate inspections, site logistics, and material deliveries
  • Communicate regularly with architects, inspectors, and client representatives
  • Maintain quality control across all phases of construction
  • Adapt communication style to work effectively with a wide range of trade partners
  • Occasionally support hands-on field work when needed and appropriate
  • Represent the company professionally on the jobsite and with project partners
  • Help reinforce company standards, culture, and expectations in the field

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

  • 10+ years of commercial construction field experience
  • Ground-up commercial and tenant improvement project exposure
  • Strong plan reading and jobsite coordination skills
  • Comfort using project management tools such as Procore or similar platforms
  • Ability to lead crews, manage subcontractors, and resolve issues calmly
